Where Every Story Is Decided.
The JUANEWS Editor Desk is the control room of the newsroom. Here, every headline, every angle and every correction is reviewed before it goes live to Africa and the world.
News Editor
Monitors the wires, submissions and live tips; decides what becomes a JUANEWS headline and assigns stories to the right reporters.
Section / Desk Editor
Owns a zone (Africa Desk, Global, Politics, Economy, etc.), shapes angles, checks context and aligns every story with our editorial mission.
Copy & Standards Editor
Cleans language, checks facts, enforces style, verifies quotes, headlines, captions and makes sure JUANEWS never publishes blindly.
What JUANEWS Editors Do – Every Single Day
Core responsibilities:

- Edit copy for clarity, impact, balance and legal risk before publication.

- Reporter Manager – tracks who filed what, and when.
- Raw Africa – unfiltered citizen footage waiting for verification.
