Who We Are Looking For
- News Reporters & Correspondents – field and desk reporters for local, national and international stories.
- Investigative Journalists – deep-dive reporters for JUANEWS Deep Files and special projects.
- Video Producers & Editors – creators for JUANEWS TV, documentaries and visual reports.
- Audio Producers & Hosts – talents for JUANEWS Reportcast and audio series.
- Digital Editors & Copy Editors – to shape headlines, refine copy and maintain editorial quality.
- Social Media & Community Managers – to grow, engage and protect the JUANEWS community.
- Graphics & Motion Designers – to craft banners, explainers and visual identity.
- Developers & Technical Staff – to help build and secure our custom JUANEWS platform.
How We Work
JUANEWS operates with a hybrid, flexible model. Our contributors and staff may work:
- On the ground in key African cities and regions;
- Remotely from anywhere in the world with strong connectivity;
- On contract, freelance or project-based assignments.
We value integrity, discipline, accuracy and respect for our audience. We also value creativity,
initiative and the ability to work under pressure when news breaks.
Minimum Expectations
- Strong written and/or spoken communication skills.
- Commitment to truth, verification and ethical journalism.
- Respect for our Editorial Standards and newsroom policies.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with an international team.
